The first day

Today we, Fleur, my parents and my little brother left towards England. We woke up at 4 am and got in the car, on our way to Calais, France. From Oss to Calais was a trip of 3 hours. When we were in Calais, we went through the Passport control and it was very busy. When we finally got on the boat, the trip from Calais to Dover, England was 90 minutes long. During the boat trip we went to the shop on the boat and we also went to the deck of the ship. After the boat trip we had to drive another 2 hours to Portsmouth where we had our second boat trip. That was the boat trip from Portsmouth to Fishbourne on The Isle of Wight. The trip was 20 minutes long, during the trip we were outside on the deck of the ship and watched the coast of The Isle of Wight come closer. It was a very beautiful view. When we arrived on The Isle of Wight in the city of Fishbourne we drove to Yarmouth, a city on the other side of the island. There we went to The West Bay Club where we are doing our internship and where we are staying. We met Steve Deacon, the General Manager of The West Bay. He was very happy to meet us and he told us that the whole staff was already informed about us. He also told us that he had work for us (starting this Monday) that will keep us busy. So overall I think I can say that I'm very excited!
